We are fundraising to get more vets outside this 9/11
We ran our first VetEx 9/11 Climbing Series trip thirteen years ago. Since then, we have climbed all over North America with this climbing series and had hundreds of vets out climbing with us. This year we will send out teams of veteran climbers to Seneca Rocks West Virginia and Del Campo Peak Washington. Two climbing trips on total opposite ends of the country getting vets out together during this symbolic weekend of remembrance. Our community will pay respect to the lives lost on this day in 2001 and all the lives lost since. We will never forget the impact this day has had on our military veteran community and our nation.
If those two great outdoor opportunities were not enough, we will be adding a new trip this year. From 9/10 - 9/16, we will send a team of veteran mountain bikers to bike pack from Durango Colorado to Moab Utah via the San Juan Hut System. For 7 days and 6 nights these vets will ride all day in remembrance of 9/11. So that's both coasts and the middle of America's mountains of trips for this years VetEx 9/11 Climbing Series.
